The Finke Estate preserves, researches, and opens Dieter Finke's archive. It connects works, documents, and reconstruction notes so the practice can be read as a living field.
A studio photograph on this card shows five sculptures grouped at Finke's Haubachstrasse studio, made ahead of Skulpturen + Bilder — Sculptures and Paintings — at Galerie im Kutscherhaus, Berlin, in May 1990. Two of the five are identified as Guardian I and Guardian III, photographed shortly before those two were cast in bronze; the identities of the other three remain currently unconfirmed.
